Who we are looking for: The Facilities and Compliance team seeks a Fresh Alliance Sanitation Support to contribute to the effective operation of the warehouse by maintaining a clean and sanitary appearance of the facility. A successful Sanitation Support will perform cleaning and maintenance duties in a professional, efficient, proactive and safe manner. This position is a part-time evening shift and is located at our NE Portland warehouse. Who you are: You care deeply about people experiencing hunger. You have a strong interest in facilities operations and have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. You have excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and to work collaboratively within a team setting. You have an eye for detail and you enjoy a fast-paced environment. You think creatively and can respond to a changing environment. Primary Responsibilities: -Clean and sanitize containers for Fresh Alliance. -Clean the warehouse as needed to support sanitation objectives. -Perform light maintenance duties. -Assist with landscaping and groups keeping projects as assigned. -Observe and report interior and exterior facility maintenance needs. Skills and experience of the ideal candidate: -High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 months experience in facilities maintenance. -Skilled in the operation of standard warehouse cleaning equipment. -Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. -Ability to speak clearly over the phone and walkie-talkie radio.
