*****Please contact Umbrella of Hope at for more information about this pet.***** Many thanks to Barbara Brady- Smith at SHARE THE JOY PHOTOGRAPHY for the wonderful pictures Umbrella of Hope 'Be Our Pet' Meet Mr Fabuloso Clean! Fabuloso is a 7 yr old, 20 lb Corgi and Chihuahua Mix NEUTERED MALE.  He is also microchipped, vaccinated, free of parasites and has had his teeth cleaned and bloodwork.  Our vet says he is very chubby and needs to lose 5 lbs, so he is on prescription food until that happens. Fabuloso loves the leash and going on walks.  He also loves belly rubs.  He is great in the car and loves to sit next to you as close as possible. He is housebroken and crate-trained. He is good with cats and other dogs.  We would recommend older, gentle children for now as he does get spooked easily and is shy at first.  We will update this as we get to know him better. He qualifies for our Seniors to Seniors program Welcome to UOH, Fabuloso!  GENERAL INFO:   Housebroken?: Yes Crate Trained?: Yes Leash Trained?: Yes Rides Well in Car?: Yes Non-Shedding?: no Good with cats?: Yes Good with dogs?: Yes Qualifies for Seniors for Seniors?: Yes Umbrella of Hope does not have any strict rules on ages of children because all children are different, but our best approximation is that this animal would do best with children over the age of 10. Some animals at UOH have benefitted from the Maddie's Treatable Assistance Program Umbrella of Hope is a non-profit animal rescue based out of Pittsburg, CA that rescues animals off death row from local shelters. We offer rebates of adoption fees after completion of obedience classes and CGC titles.  Also, ask us about our seniors for seniors program, where we adopt animals 5 years or older to qualified homes with a $5 donation as an adoption fee. All animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for parasites and given any additional treatments (dental work, bloodwork etc) as recommended by our vet. Some of our senior animals have sponsorships for their food/vet care/medicine for the rest of their life at our vet in Pittsburg, CA (94565)  Adoptions to veterans of the US Armed Services are ALWAYS free to thank you for your service.  Other retired public servants, please let us know what career you retired from and we can let you know if we offer any discounts for your adoption  Some of our animals are sponsored by the Maddie’s Fund Treatable Assistance Program.  Please send an email to the Umbrella Of Hope Animal Director with any inquiries at . Detailed emails will be answered first.   We thank Well Pet Vet Clinic for providing most of our veterinary services, Lovely Grooming for our grooming needs, The Zoom Room Walnut Creek for training and Share the Joy Photography for the beautiful portraits of many of our animals.  Please support these businesses for supporting rescue!      Preference will be given to adopters who have filled out an application About Us Umbrella of Hope Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in East Contra Costa County, California.
