To apply, email your resume to: The Human Resources Generalist will work directly with the Vice President to oversee the human resources function. The incumbent will be responsible for payroll, benefits, compensation, new hires, training, safety & OSHA compliance, workers compensation, and filing & organization of HR documents. JOB FUNCTIONS Essential: ? Lead and administer the day-to-day operation of the Human Resources function ? Provide Executive Officers with relevant information about HR situations within the Company ? Act as Safety Officer to lead the safety committee in determining programs and necessary actions to ensure a safe workplace; maintain OSHA compliance ? Manage the Workers Compensation claims and administration process ? Maintain compliance with all city, state and federal regulations; ensure posters and brochures are ordered ? Administer the benefits, compensation and performance management processes ? Administer and track all employees training. Provide accountability to Stores for proper training. ? Revise and create HR forms, documents and procedures, and update company Google Apps Sites as needed ? Make site visits to both locations to build relationship and support the managers ? Administer payroll (input new hires, process terminations, pay rate changes, performance review tracking, etc.) ? Run reports to obtain various employee data and information ? Develop and administer new programs, as well as maintenance of existing programs ? Manage the recruiting process ? posting jobs on various job boards and making sure that managers have the tools and resources necessary for recruiting ? HR communications and maintenance of the community bulletin board ? Create new hire packets and benefits packets ? Coordinate various Company meetings and events ? Act as Office Manager, responsible for ordering office supplies and maintaining a smooth running office ? Oversee record keeping and maintain files ? Maintain employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential according to FACTA Identity Theft prevention requirements. Other Functions: ? As needed, assist Executive Officers with any other HR related tasks and projects Physical/Environmental Factors ? Computer Usage Requirement ? Minimum 5 years of human resource experience, with 3+ years of generalist experience ? PHR, SPHR preferred ? Bachelor?s Degree with emphasis on HR or related field preferred ? Must be professional and able to maintain confidentiality ? Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills ? Outstanding organizational skills ? Ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment ? Excellent attention to detail to ensure data integrity ? Strong analytical and problem solving skills ? Must be able to take initiative and be able to operate independently ? Needs to use discretion and common sense to make sound business decisions ?
