PLEASE APPLY ON LINE AT: The seasonal pool monitor is responsible for the daily supervision of club pool and to monitor the adherence to the pool rules by all members and their guests who visit to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all. Assignment is part time 20-25 hours/week from 4/1 to 9/31 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other responsibilities may be assigned. • To be visible and accessible at all times throughout the shift. • To provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere to the members and their guests. • Responsible for the daily overall function of the clubs pools, ensure opening/closing checklists and walkthroughs are completed daily. • Supervise all pool staff regarding attendance, breaks, duties and checklists. • Ensure all club and pool rules are enforced. • Enforce pool policies regarding dress code, rules, classes, instructors and guests. • To ensure all areas associated with pool and spa usage are safe. • Hold regular walkabouts to maintain order and cleanliness of all club facilities (including cabana's). Enforce rules, monitor activities, clean up, rearrange furniture, and answer questions. • Attend weekly managers meetings to enhance communication between all club management and supervisory staff. • Direct maintenance staff as needed to maintain high levels of cleanliness and order throughout all club facilities. • Perform daily chemical checks of all pools and spas and record on pool facility log. Report to Maintenance Supervisor or Club Management if proper chemical levels are not in line as required by the Sacramento Health Department. • Inspect facilities environment for potential safety hazards and acts of vandalism, immediately take corrective action, document and report to management. • Coordinate with Social Director to set-up and take-down for planned social events or club activities as directed. • Maintain excellent customer service to all members and guests. • Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Valid California Drivers License and State Mandated Vehicle Insurance and Own Transportation.
