The National Institute for School Leadership (NISL) currently has an opening for a Logistics Administrator. The Logistics Administrator provides appropriate materials to support NISL facilitators and participants, communicates with client site coordinators to ensure all NISL program implementation requirements are met, and provides customer service in terms of questions regarding print materials and NISL online tutorials. The Logistics Administrator will work with NISL leadership, to a lesser extent, on curriculum development, marketing, copyright, and evaluation. Responsibilities include: Administration • Ensure all NISL materials are delivered in a timely manner for the start of all EDP, Institutes, pilot programs, and other NISL sessions that may arise • Track all shipments to their destinations, maintain proof of deliveries, and respond to queries on deliveries from sites. • Pack and send science box of materials to each upcoming Unit • Establish and implement procedures and processes for resolving all implementation issues (e.g. FedEx, technical support, material distribution, participant concerns, site coordination, NISL leadership/facilitator concerns.) • Work closely with our shipper to ensure that we maintain stocks of books, NISL bags, and NISL notebooks; ensure best pricing • Approve all incoming invoices related to materials regarding payments for shipping and stocking. • Oversee the maintenance of records and the issuance of certificates for NISL certification Customer Service • Maintain personal relationships with the on-site contact person(s) in each of the NISL sites • Process day-to-day requests from the field; ensure facilitators have the latest materials, serve as back-up support for NISL online to address log-in issues, and any other logistical requests regarding materials, NISL online, unit simulations, certificates, etc. • Work collaboratively with other key areas, such as LMS, operations, instruction, marketing, etc. Technology • Maintain evaluation database for NISL programs; analyze results for key trends and report findings to NISL leadership • Monitor computer simulations for specific units • Maintain database information for NISL participants, site coordinators, and certified facilitators; will integrate into LMS • Provide customized reports as needed by NISL leadership; will integrate into LMS • Backup for the NISL online system; ensure that all NISL participants are entered; ensure that the appropriate on- site person has participant log-ins, in a timely manner. Experience and Education Required: • Bachelor's degree required in a related area (e.g., Business, Education, Liberal Arts, et al.) • 3-4 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. • Strong computer skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Microsoft office, database software, LMS, etc.) • Experience in education, K-12 or educational leader, preferred • High level of organizational ability, independent judgment, problem analysis, and independent decision-making. • Demonstrated track record as a strategic thinker, creative problem-solver and solutions-provider • Strong planning, coordinating, organizational, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Working Conditions • Job requires some amount of travel In order to provide equal employment and advancement opportunities to all individuals, employment decisions at NCEE/NISL will be based on merit, qualifications and abilities.
