Job Opportunity: Human Resource Manager, Hebron, KY

Our client, a small manufacturing firm, is growing and in need of a savvy HR Generalist/Manager who loves handling day-to-day human resources while making an impact on the organization. This is an opportunity to work with an expanding company with a tremendous future.

As Human Resource Manager, you’ll be responsible for most areas of HR, including Employee Relations, Recruiting, Workers’ Comp, Compensation & Benefits, Training and ongoing Compliance. Recruitment and Retention are critical to our client’s growth and this role will handle attracting, engaging and developing their growing team. Our client needs a motivated professional to come in and build on their existing processes and structure to support their growth. They are open to your new ideas to be successful in this area.

• Bachelors degree, preferred
• 5+ years Human Resource Generalist experience, experience in a manufacturing environment is a MUST; previous supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of Payroll, HR Systems, Compensation & Benefits Administration, Recordkeeping, Legal Compliance and Employee Relations, and Recruiting required
• Resourcefulness with an innate ability to seek answers
• Solid experience guiding managers and supervisors through employee relations issues
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently handling daily issues, from the mundane to the more significant
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task effectively
• Willingness to go outside the defined parameters of your position when needed
• Demonstrated ability to remain up to date on laws, standards and government regulations, experience in KY a plus
