We specialize in providing professional in-home care for seniors and others who are not ready to leave their home for an assisted living facility or nursing home. We provide our clients with companionship, personal care, and social interaction to reduce isolation and improve the quality of their life. We serve the Bay Area peninsula, mainly from Atherton up to South San Francisco. We value integrity, communication, a positive attitude, commitment, initiative and teamwork. Job Description: The Caregiver Manager (CM) will be responsible for managing (responsibility shared with owner) and developing caregivers for Senior Helpers within the franchise territory. This will include all caregiver recruiting, hiring, recognition programs, and discipline. Recruit and hire caregivers regularly, based on the current balance of caregivers. Using your teamwork skills, initiative and commitment, you will directly impact the growth of this company by the quantity and quality of caregivers you bring on to the team. You will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, onboarding, orienting, and training the caregivers. You will work with the management team to determine which caregivers best fit our client needs and assign them accordingly. Manage the caregivers. Using your positive attitude, integrity, commitment and communication skills, you will ensure the caregivers have support and recognition, adhere to our care philosophies and policies, and remain committed to their work. You will also communicate with them via a newsletter and other channels you deem valuable. Advance the caregivers. Using your initiative, and creative thinking, you will develop training programs, find effective ways to deliver the training and increase participation in the training. This training will allow caregivers to better provide care to our clients as well as help them to advance in their own goals. You will be asked to work on call on the weekends every other weekend. Qualifications: If you are a team player, self-starter, great communicator, committed, solution oriented, business focused, compassionate and pay attention to detail, we'd like to talk to you! Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment. Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership ability. Minimum of 18 months experience in recruiting or HR on-boarding activities required. Minimum of one year experience managing employees. Ability to be visit clients homes in the assigned territory. Bachelor's Degree and three years of related work experience strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required. Ability to learn other software programs quickly. Strong verbal communication skills, especially using the telephone. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
