As a Capital Teas Store Manager, you will lead your store's operations, staffing, merchandising, customer satisfaction, financial performance and team development. Your responsibilities and essential job functions will include the following: Manager Responsibilities: - Setting goals for the work group, developing organizational capability, and modeling how your team works together: - Implement company programs and achieve monthly sales goals by directly motivating, instructing, and coaching the store team. - Manage with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture, values and mission of Capital Teas - Plan, communicate, and delegate appropriate responsibilities and practices to ensure smooth operations of your store. - Developing strategic and operational plans for the work group, managing execution, and measuring results: - Monitor and manage store staffing to ensure staff development and talent acquisition to achieve and maintain store operational requirements. - Communicate clearly, concisely and accurately in order to ensure effective store operations. - Plan for and achieve operational excellence in the store. - Identify, report, and address trends and issues in store performance. Required Experience: - Progressively responsible retail experience (3-5+ years) - Supervision for at least 1 year - Experience analyzing financial reports Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Ability to manage store operations independently - Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment - Ability to manage multiple situations simultaneously - Ability to manage resources ensuring established service levels are achieved at all times - Interpersonal skills - Expertise in selling retail products - Knowledge of customer service techniques - Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures - Organization and planning skills - Strong operational skills in a customer-service environment - Strong problem-solving skills - Team-building skills - Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing - Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor others - Ability to plan and prioritize - Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information As a Capital Teas store manager, you will be eligible to participate in our company healthcare plan and will receive employee discounts, among other benefits.
