Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Job Summary: This position supports attorneys working on Antitrust & Trade Regulation litigation matters, in addition to other practice areas, and requires extensive communication with clients and firm personnel. Successful candidates will effectively work both independently and with various Firm departments and offices, engaging available resources in an appropriate manner. Responsibilities include: • Heavy scheduling of domestic and international travel for individuals and teams of attorneys. • Maintaining various reports and files. • Providing support to Partners in charge of litigation matters. • Complex editing, printing and formatting of legal documents, letters, spreadsheets and presentations. • General administrative tasks (includes expense reports, time entry, client bill review, phone coverage, calendar management, and general file maintenance). • Research and obtain information to facilitate the completion of various forms and processes. • Other tasks as assigned. Qualifications: Qualified candidate must be proactive and have strong interpersonal and client service skills as well as the ability to use good judgment in handling administrative tasks in a timely manner, with limited supervision, and in a professional manner. Detail orientation, solid computer proficiencies, and the ability to quickly prioritize multiple projects and effectively problem solve while remaining calm in deadline driven situations is required. Candidate must also demonstrate an excellent telephone demeanor and strong service orientation. Education/Experience: Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years administrative experience. Prior law firm experience is ideal, however, all candidates with strong administrative and/or executive assistant experience will be considered. Required computer skills include a high proficiency in Microsoft Office 2010 (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Windows 7.
