Company Profile: Crossroads Treatment Centers, Inc. is currently seeking residential counselors for the newly developed program Sierra Girls Center for juvenile teen girls on probation ages 11-17 years old. Our staff-to-client ratio is a minimum of 1:3 during the day and evening hours, while one awake, overnight staff supervises the clients and the facility during the late night hours. Crossroads offers clinical services to young girl's ages 11-17 years old. Job Title: Residential Counselor Shift Supervisor (RCSS) or Residential Counselor (RC) Types of Shifts listed by priority: 1. M-F Days (Teachers Assistant/RCS) Hours (40.5hrs/week) Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:00pm 2. Sun-Wed (Swing) Hours (37.75 hrs/week) Sun 8:30am to 10pm, Mon to Wed 2/3pm to 10/11pm 3. Thur-Sat (Swing) Hours (31hrs/week) Thur & Fri 2/3pm to 10/11pm, Sat 8:00am to 10pm 4. M-Th (Overnight) Hours (38hrs/week) Mon-Thurs 11:00pm to 8:30am, ** 5. F-Sun (Overnight) Hours (30.5hrs/week) Fri-Sat 10:00pm to 8:00am, Sun 10:00pm to 8:30am ** 6. On-call (based on your availability- very flexible) can work any shifts listed above 24/7 NOTE: MANDATORY STAFF MEETING: **Only overnight staff members shifts are able to bring in homework to their shifts. Job Summary: Residential Counselor Shift Supervisors (RCSS) supervise Residential Counselors (RC) and general program activities; provides for the care, supervision, observation, and protection of clients; responsible for implementing defined treatment plans and planned activities in collaboration with clinical team; participates in staff treatment planning sessions; schedules work and activity assignments for RCs; completes various logs and reports; dispenses medication to clients; performs minor first aid when necessary; performs liaison functions with authorized representatives and community residents, school personnel, and law enforcement. Residential Counselor (RC) work involves extensive interaction with and direct supervision of adolescent/teenage girls identified as Emotionally Disturbed (ED) living in a therapeutic residential care environment. Resident Counselor (RC) participates in supervised activities; works with other staff to follow defined treatment plans; assists children in or performs housekeeping chores and cooking; accompanies and supervises children on various outings as well as medical, dental, and professional appointments; assists with homework assignments and instructs children on self-maintenance and life skills. Salary Range and Benefits: (Full-time and Part-time Employees) $10.50 - $13.00 per hour to start depending on education and experience $0.25 weekend shift differential $0.50 supervisor shift differential or overnight shift Benefits for Regular Full Time & Part Time employees Include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance & 403B Retirement Plan Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (Required) 15 units in Behavioral Science (I.e., Psychology, Sociology, Social & Behavioral Science, Social Work, Nursing, Human Services, ECE, Criminal Justice, etc.) or 1 year experience in field preferred. Proof of education required. Will need copy of actual degree and/or unofficial transcripts that state degree was awarded. Valid CA Drivers License with GOOD driving record Pass FP Criminal/Background Check (No convictions) Previous work experiences with SED population in group home setting or juvenile probation a plus.
