At least 3 years experience required. Qualifications: Supervise and participate in the cooking, seasoning and baking of menu items Plan and price menu items with Executive Chef Maintain proper inventory levels by ordering supplies and keeping accurate records Maintain adequate supply levels and verify quality and quantity of receivables Ensure an efficient work environment by managing customer complaints, modifying/creating/enforcing procedures and processes to meet deadlines Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by inspecting facilities and equipment to ensure regulatory compliance and cleanliness Maintain and exceptional record of punctuality and attendance Ensure consistency of our product through great presentation and focused communication of kitchen staff Possess Food Handlers Certification Card or be willing to get one within 30 days of employment Regularly communicate in a positive, friendly and effective manner with our staff and guests Maintain a well groomed appearance, you must be the example Ability to use, update menu items and derive reports from a POS system, Aloha preferred Three or more years of experience as a Sous Chef with a heavy knowledge and experience of FOH management is a plus Understanding of our operations, procedures, form requirements and Microsoft Office skills Ability to safely lift, balance and carry up to #50 and climb stairs frequently Ability to work up to 40 hours per week with possible overtime Regularly stand for prolonged periods of time over the course of your day
