Staffing Coordinator To apply for this position, please submit a Cover Letter, Resume and Salary History with Educational Background to Position Summary The Staffing Coordinator is responsible for arranging and monitoring placement of homecare aides into the homes of our elderly clients along with maintaining the staffing department. It is important to be an organized, self-starter who has the ability to juggle many tasks while also being able to differentiate between tasks that need immediate attention. Reports to Director of Client Services, Client Care Manager and Staffing Supervisor Qualifications Experience in staffing is a must, preferably in the healthcare field; an AA or BA is preferred but not required. This position is paid hourly; wage dependent upon experience and education. Responsibilities: Staffing Coordinator will be enthusiastic about working with seniors and their caregivers and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The Staffing Coordinator will work directly with the other Staffing Coordinators and report to the Director of Client Care to assure stability, continuation, and satisfaction on each case. Promptly handle telephone inquiries for caregiver positions and schedules as well as directing calls to the appropriate person -- Answer Phones in an upbeat / pleasant manner Schedule caregivers for client assignments according to employee availability and client needs Follow-up with Client Care Managers when there is a change in Caregiver schedule Handle Client staffing issues once case has been passed on from Director of Client Care and/or Client Care Manager Possess some knowledge of HR to assist in caregiver orientations / hiring process following up on Tracking/ Fingerprinting/ TB and CNA license Communicate and confirm schedules, including any changes, with staff and caregivers Possess excellent interpersonal skills -- communicating with professionals, clients, and directing calls to the appropriate person Must have excellent problem-solving skills and be able to prioritize and lead coordinators in appropriate and difficult decisions Be detail-oriented with great time management skills Be a Team Player and communicate client issues with Director of Client Care and/or Client Care Manager Possess excellent managerial skills / helping in cohesiveness of Staffing department Have Strong computer skills and knowledgeable with Excel Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communication in a manner that supports all staff, clients, family members, and referral sources. Other duties as assigned This is a full time hourly position DOE -- Monday through Friday 8:30am-5pm Matching 401k / PTO accrual / Health Benefits / Incentive program We are an equal opportunity employer
