Email your resume to: . General Job Summary Customer Service interacts and responds to Customers to provide excellent service. May include handling transactions such as purchases, returns, exchanges, inquiries and complaints in the best interest of both the customer and the company. Requires interaction with Customers, sales people, warehouse workers, office personnel and management to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services or to handle and resolve complaints. Summary of Essential Job Functions • Answer Customer calls for • Welcome Customers with enthusiasm -- greet customers with a friendly demeanor and positive attitude. • Respond to all Customer email inquiries and requests; and follow-up to ensure Customer satisfaction. • Talk with Customers via the internet or by telephone and actively listen to assess and determine customer needs and requests, as well as convey information about products and services, to take, cancel or return orders, or to obtain details of complaints. • Cultivate sales leads from phone calls and review with manager for best approach to close. • Complete sales for 1800 • Solicit sale of new or additional services or products. • Update order status', check product availability, and issue shipping labels for product returns, execute parts requests, etc. • Follow-up with Customers and vendors to ensure Customer satisfaction. • Check status of direct ship purchase orders with vendors and update corresponding web invoice accordingly. • Update Storis sales orders to reflect changes, fund collection and line item/order completions for web orders. • Complete product database spreadsheets for import to web product database. • Record details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken. • Resolve customers' service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money and adjusting bills. • Obtain and examine all relevant information to assess validity of complaints and to determine possible causes. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • A minimum of two to four years work-related skill, knowledge or experience. • Ability to clearly communicate information and ideas verbally and in writing. • Detailed oriented and ability to multi-task. • Computer skills necessary; working knowledge in database software (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Storis), • Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Education and Experience: Some College. Conditions of Employment: Work scheduled weekends and/or holidays when necessary.
