What we've got: We are currently publishing over 600 local community magazines throughout the United States and Europe. These magazines are 32-page, full-color, glossy stock publications that are target-mailed to an average of 5,000 households in each market we serve. Our rates are great and our advertisers get results. We deliver the households they want and need -- at rates that show a strong return-on-investment -- and our readership satisfaction results are enviable. What we want: We're looking for Advertising Sales Entrepreneurs. People who understand the value of a beautiful, targeted publication full of local content that residents want. We need hunters who have always dreamed of starting up their own publication and reaping the rewards of their efforts. Advertising pros who love the idea of launching a first-class magazine in their own market backed by the editorial and marketing support of a national publisher. We want men and women who always knew they could be successful selling print advertising if the right opportunity just came along. People who love the idea of building something they can call their own and assuming ownership for its success. What we offer: You'll earn 20 percent on everything you sell. At goal, each publication should generate $12,000 to $16,000 per issue, depending on ad mix and contract commitments. That means, assuming you provide the sales effort, on average you can expect to bring home $2,800 per month per publication. We've seen good evidence that one focused pro can sell three magazines without much trouble, which at goal nets you $8,400 a month. To get you going, we'll pay you up to $5,000 in the first sales cycle as your initial sales milestones are met -- plus you'll make your 20 percent. If you're in a market where we already have a community magazine, we may even offer you the opportunity to take over sales and service of existing contracted businesses. If you decide you want to take this business model to the next level, you can hire your own sales team and we'll help you launch as many magazines as you feel your geography can support. We'll supply the basic start-up materials such as rate cards, media kits, maps, examples of current magazines -- and even some branded clothing so you feel confident in your market as you launch your magazine. We'll build all your ads live with your advertisers and our designers, we'll take care of all billing and we'll produce a local magazine you can be proud to sell to local businesses. Last, but not least, we'll offer suggestions to you on how to attain the level of success you envision and we want for you. We know what works and we're happy to share our suggestions to help you target the right kinds of businesses and make sure your customers get results on their investment with you. What you bring to the table: We're looking for the right mix of local market knowledge and proven sales ability. Professionals who understand the value of a superior print product, targeting the right households -- and creating advertising that works for local businesses. You'll be aggressive in your sales approach, organized in hitting deadlines and committed to keeping your customers satisfied. We promise to be just as committed to helping you be successful. You provide your own vehicle, computer and mobile phone. You're an Independent Contractor, so you set your own schedule, you set up your own office -- and you run your business to maximize profits for yourself. We can offer suggestions, but you're the entrepreneur and you're the one who has waited for this chance.
