The operations manager positions is responsible for: Supervising Client Accounts: Perform site inspections on a routine scheduled basis to ensure customer confidence. Perform site inspections with client as needed. Manage all accounts to meet the contracted budgetary goals and labor efficiencies communicate budgeted vs. actual labor with crew leads. Manage client expectations and ensure service is being met or exceeded, create a trusted relationship with clients. Suggest improvements for sites and provide detailed information for quoting and proposals. Proactively address customer questions or concerns. Determine feasibility and timing of customer request. Handle basic irrigation tasks such as setting and checking clocks, reporting any damage and performing minor repairs. Managing Crews: Direct / Oversee / Participate in Crew Work Manage job site production and productivity of crews, instruct and redirect crews as needed. Prioritize the day's work and assign duties, schedule recurring maintenance and one-time projects. Distribute schedules on a daily basis to crews. Provide knowledge and expertise to crews for guidance in daily task. Conduct "on the job" training as needed. Ensure work is completed in a safe and efficient manner. Ensure proper use and safe keeping of company resources and equipment. Maintain necessary paperwork for daily operations. Perform weekly vehicle inspections, inventory of equipment and chemicals. Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment. Maintain vehicle cleanliness of your vehicle. Must have a good understanding of landscape installation and maintenance techniques and the machinery, tools and labor needed to accomplish work. Must demonstrate leadership skills and previous supervisory experience. Must have a valid Arizona driver's license. Must pass background check and have at least 2 work references. Must pass drug test.
