Submit resumes to: Overview Seeking a focused and professional full-time Manager in South Florida. Candidate must be a team player who has solid managerial skills, strong work ethic, and possesses a Florida "M" Security License or has held a "D" Security License for a minimum of two years. The candidate must possess the capability to thoroughly supervise and respond to deployment and logistic issues with timeliness and innovation. Preferred candidate should have a consistent job history and an education background in business management, security, hospitality, or customer service. Must enjoy being outdoors and have an outgoing personality, a friendly disposition and a passion for your community. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Each program is guided by an Manager, who is responsible for all operational aspects on a daily basis to include, recruitment, selection, training, deployment, supervision, reporting, procurement and overall quality assurance. After hiring and selecting employees we then employ the model of 'treating employees the way we want to be treated' in order to attain high levels of staff retention, which are unprecedented in the service industry. Job Skills/Requirements Focus shall be on all operational activities of the local program including administrative functions. These functions include: COORDINATE AND DEVELOP TRAINING - taking the lead on all operations and equipment training for all employees, certifying those that are qualified and have passed the standard maneuverability and knowledge tests. Ensuring compliance to the Gold Standard, all standards, procedures, and policies for operational activities. OPERATIONAL OVERSIGHT - responsible for daily guidance and direction of on-street operations. Creates deployment plans and mentors employees to maximize visibility and effectiveness of resources (personnel and equipment). Evaluates daily needs and employee performance recommending adjustments to the standard deployment plan while redirecting and training employees on better ways to meet the daily needs of the service district. HUMAN RESOURCES - recruits, selects potential candidates for hire. Trains, coaches and mentors selected staff to create a cohesive team of Employees to represent the district. Proficient in providing evaluations and coaching plans to all employees. QUALITY ASSURANCE - ensures service expectations are being met through regular shadowing and mentoring of all employees; evaluates quality of services through measuring individual employee performances compared to expectations and overall program performance, making adjustments as necessary. CUSTOMER RELATIONS - actively engages customer representative and stakeholders as requested by the Operations Manager to discuss local issues and to set a course for continual program evolution. Implements new local strategies and trains employees to continually improve service delivery. REPORTING - uses a combination of standard reporting processes combined with processes developed specifically to update customer on accomplishments and program effectiveness. HANDS ON - the Operations Manager the critical element of the program's visibility and is expected to be a working manager to actively participate in daily cleaning and safety tasks and duties. Requirements MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE - 3-5 years of verifiable management experience LINCENSURE - Must hold a Florida "MD" security license or have held a "D" license for a minimum of two years COMMUNICATION - Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language in order to create basic reports. PERSONALITY - Outgoing and upbeat personality BILINGUAL - Ability to speak two languages a plus COMPUTER SKILLS - Microsoft Office, Excel Certification Requirements -- Driver's license with a clean driving history Education Requirements -- High School Diploma or GED required Questions Are you physically able and willing to work on your feet for 6-8 hours per day?
