***EMAIL RESUME TO *** Purpose of the Position: FOH coordinator & expert for restaurant To set a great example for the entire restaurant staff Create leadership and set the standards to raise the level of performance with the current staff. Develop & implement FOH operating structure To help in creating a fun, enthusiastic atmosphere in the restaurant To deliver a profitable business to the shareholders of the restaurant To be responsible for all FOH aspects in the restaurant To perform essential responsibilities to the best of your abilities each and every day Embrace the ideas of the company culture and enroll the staff in the culture Essential Responsibilities: Service for customers that sets the standard for the front of the house Maximize the sales of all items to the customer Create and maintain and operating budget for FOH operations & scheduling To insure that all staff has proper licensing or tests taken for governmental agencies. (Food handlers, ABC, etc. . .) ***BOH knowledge a strong plus*** POS expert for restaurant -- coordinate changes, updates, cases and accuracy Hire the FOH staff Trainer to the FOH Manage the operating structure of the staff (sections, scheduling, phasing) Insure FOH staff is current on marketing programs (ads, coupons etc. . .) Alcohol rep for store (purchasing, pricing, inventory, policy & sales) Continuous improvement of the process for flow in the FOH Establish systems and processes for all front operations Insure that atmosphere is complete as planned (music, lighting, décor) Streamline all operations for cost efficiency Upkeep and maintenance in restaurant Maintain and enforce uniform policies Maintain check in and check out procedures for staff Grow current business Events & Catering coordinator -- oversee and grow for restaurant Solicit and communicate customer feedback Responsible for cash management in restaurant Working familiarity of BOH operations and personnel Expert knowledge of menu Manage the mix of the menu items for profitability Insure that all food is made to company standards Work with sister restaurants in cross promoting and discovering efficiencies Committed approach to maintaining a clean and orderly operation Excellent time management skills through advance preparation Dedication to managing food waste and theft to non existent levels Perform other duties as assigned by any executive of the company Cross train management and staff in your areas of responsibilities To do this kind of work, you must: Possess all the necessary skills of all the FOH & BOH member positions Understand the importance of the position in regards to sales and guest retention Be a leader, coach, mentor, and motivator that will move the staff to high levels of teamwork and performance Execute tasks in a timely manner Speak clearly and listen carefully Speak with poise and confidence Flexible and gracious in stressful and high activity situations Be friendly and display an enthusiastic and happy demeanor Possess excellent time management and organizational skills Be skilled at math and proficient at accounting functions related to the front of the house Solutions oriented, creative, and innovative Work in team environment Be committed to a high standard of work performance and in achieving a high level of pride in the final results of your work Physical demands: Ability to see clearly Fluent command of the English language Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time Sufficient upper body strength to serve customer and move furniture in restaurant Not allergic to food items or cleaning materials To do this job you must have the following licenses or certification before hiring: Food Service management certification To do this job you must have the following amount of total education and/or equivalent experience: • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent ***EMAIL RESUME TO *** ***EMAIL RESUME TO *** Salary Range: 38,500-$45,000 Benefits -- (Eligible after 90 days from hire date) *Medical benefits package -- 80% of employee paid by company elective spouse and dependent coverage 100% by employee *Eligibility for bonus/incentive plans. *10 paid personal days.
