This job reports to: Head of Customer Support Job Summary: The Remedy Interactive Customer Support Specialist (Tier 1) will provide customer support and troubleshoot end-user questions by telephone and email for Fortune 500 companies. This position will monitor and address incoming calls and emails requesting support, notify appropriate personnel of major issues, and document all pertinent information within trouble ticket system. Duties and Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service while corresponding with customers via telephone and email. Tier One support includes identifying problems, determining cause, providing a timely resolution and notification to the end-user. C.S. Support Specialist will be responsible for report generation of support statistics for management, and assisting Customer Support team with multiple projects and software implementations. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: One to two years customer support experience in a technical environment is preferable. Candidate must possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to quickly learn and support specialized software. Required attributes include: strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral; conflict resolution skills in a professional environment; and a positive attitude. Preferred qualifications include experience in, and commitment to, working in a dynamic environment with persons of diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
