Typical shift hours may include: AM 7-3 PM 3-11 or Graveyard 11pm - 7am. These are estimated shift hours only and may not be reflective of current scheduling needs. Reports to: General Manager and/or Assistant General Manager View the hotel at: Qualifications: * Prior housekeeping, janitorial and/or light maintenance experience required. * Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members. * Must have a valid drivers license in good standing and pass a criminal background check. * No employee will pose a threat to the health/safety of self or others. Performance Standards: * Maintains all public areas to include but not limited to; grounds, lobby, breakfast room, fitness room, pool area, back offices, guest hallways, rooms, service landings, and storage areas. * Processes some of the hotels laundry; folds linens, stalks carts/linen rooms. * Performs light maintenance and room PM's as assigned. * Operates and maintains the hotel van. Assist guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing information on hotel facilities and activities. Job Duties: * Deep clean and PM guest rooms, including bathrooms, following all house rules, safety and security procedures. * Move furniture, hang drapes, and roll carpets as necessary. * Sweep and scrub floor. Clean carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies. * Dust furniture. Wash walls, windows, sills and door panels. * Sort, count, fold, mark and carry linens and push loaded linen carts to appropriate place. * Remove trash and dirty linen from Room Attendants' carts. * Transport trash and waste to disposal area. * Clean guest hallways. * Maintain service areas and storage closets in a clean, neat and well organized fashion. * Assist guests and club members in a friendly and professional manner, providing information on hotel facilities and activities upon request * Assist fellow staff members. * Report any maintenance work, damage, or missing items to the Supervisor. * Turn in lost and found items to the Supervisor or the Housekeeping Office. * Clean and maintain equipment and report problems or service needs to supervisor. * Maintain a safe working environment. Report and correct, if possible, any unsafe acts or conditions. * Perform other related duties as assigned or requested by supervisors/managers. * Operate the hotel van. Must have a valid drivers license. * Process laundry. * A full job description is available at the time of interview.
