My client is a well-established bank; they are Sr. PM (w/Risk & Compliance, AML and Fidelity Exp.) Duration: 6 Months with strong preference for those who are willing to work on FTE Location: - Mt. Laurel - New Jersey but can be a remote position Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight and execution of multiple high visibility projects in the Risk & Compliance portfolio. Specific AML experience is strongly preferred. The proven ability to manage broad and highly complex teams and projects involving significant scope and complexity is imperative. The ideal candidates will be required to manage an implementation of a third party software package. Plan, coordinate and supervise complex technical project assignments. Coordinate project requirements gathering, systems analysis, technical design, programming, testing, and deployment for major applications. Define project phases, set and assign deliverables, and manage staff. Develop project plans with milestones. Coordinate all project meetings and interface with business units, external staff, and service providers. There is no specific third party software package implementation planned, but several are anticipated. Candidates must have proven experience engaging and working with 3rd party vendors. Key accountabilities: • Set direction at the project level • Collaborate with many different business and technical groups to establish the appropriate resource plan and execute on common goals • Direct or manage large-scale applications projects across multiple product lines, involving significant scope and complexity • Ensure delivery of projects to the business partner, meeting the approved scope/cost/schedule/quality for the project • Perform a governing role for, ensuring that the project proposal, execution, control, deployment, training and hand off, warranty support, and closure phases meet promised schedules • Perform risk identification and mitigation activities, escalating unresolved issues to Program Management and/or Steering Committee where appropriate to secure timely decisions and support • Manage the acquisition and deployment of resources, including budget, by working with the Functional Managers to secure the resources required for the project • Ensure client satisfaction with the project process and project team by effective and timely communication including status reporting, continual risk/issue assessment/management and escalation, and resolution of issues as they arise • The successful candidate will be required to work with and influence senior level leaders and partner with other IT Managers. • Manage a team that consists of 5-50 people • Adopt and adhere to all applicable procurement, technical, quality, and Project Management Office standards for documentation, reporting, budgeting, and risk management. SKILLS: • Proven senior IT project leadership skills and experience managing large and complex IT projects. • Full life cycle development experience. • Experience with proven project management methodologies. • PMI certification. • Expertise in MS Project, Excel, Visio and Powerpoint. Must Haves: Banking/Financial background (5+ years minimum) Excellent Communication PMLC SDLC PMP Certification preferred Sharepoint MS Project Ability to manage the scope of multiple projects & keep budgets and timelines in schedule. Ability to manage and handle strong personalities.
