POSITION SUMMARY The mission of a Regional Sales Executive is to develop new business in specific geographic areas through cold calls, SilverEdge set appointments, referrals, and networking or leads groups. The Regional Sales Executive must interact with existing customers to increase merchant retention, while generating merchant referrals to generate business through the sales of SilverEdge products and services. The Regional Sales Executive must be familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within an outside sales environment as well as cold calling. Performs a variety of tasks and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and reports daily to the Director of Sales. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required, in addition to the required outcomes. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Must meet monthly, quarterly and yearly new account and revenue expectations • Must ensure each deal has profit generated after the subtraction of cost of goods sold • Submit the required documentation and ensure you acquire any additional documentation as requested by underwriting to get new accounts approved and processing. • Generate additional upfront revenue monthly through up-selling of additional SilverEdge products that provide tangible value to our clients. Upfront revenue opportunities must bring value to the clients. • Provide Tangible value through each SilverEdge deal generated • Follow up 30 days after closing a new account is required to verify and document in the system the customer's satisfaction with our service or product and to obtain referrals. • If a client needs immediate service; open an escalated ticket for immediate customer support and take accountability for the client until resolution has been completed. • Documenting all prospect and customer related sales and customer service activity daily into the CRM system • SilverEdge team members live with purpose, stay positive, remain professional at all times and are passionate about their work and the SilverEdge vision QUALIFICATIONS • 2+ years business to business outside sales experience with a proven track record of successfully closing new business required • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree ideal COMPENSATION This position offers a base salary depending on experience and an opportunity to earn lucrative monthly commissions based upon personal performance.
