Associate Manager/Biller (Part Time) The Life of Jesus Organization DBA Quality Life In Home Care 3149 Meramec, Saint Louis, MO 63118 Phone: 314-932-5845 Fax: 314 - 932 - 5747 Head office: 14 N Sprigg Street Cape Girardeau, Missouri 63701 Phone: 573-332-1423 We are looking for an experienced Associate Manager/Biller who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the agency. This position will be responsible for collecting, processing, analyzing and investigating In-home care claims and determining payment responsibility. This person will also support our unique services that improve the lives of Clients across the State by helping our agency increase revenue, decrease costs, improve compliance, improve collaboration and productivity. Responsibilities Process and submit claims to different payers. Review client claims to find errors, denials or discrepancies in reimbursement Review claims to ensure optimal levels of reimbursement for company clients. Follow up on claims to ensure client payment and recover unpaid claims Reviews all client billings for reasonable and necessary charges. Examines coding for accuracy. Evaluates claims returned for errors and makes corrections and recommendations for follow-up, further investigation or documentation as necessary Responds to all client inquiries regarding claims status and estimated reimbursement amounts and dates. Responds to all claims related questions. Train, assist and educates clients on insurance reimbursement policies, procedures and standards. Partner effectively with all company departments to maintain excellent customer relationships Maintain current and extensive knowledge of our services Participate in ongoing training opportunities to maintain relevant knowledge Maintain extensive knowledge of In Home services. Communicating with clients and staff on telephone, e-mail, or regular mail; managing database records; drafting status reports on customer service issues; and supporting staff Serve as account managers for assigned clients. Be the primary contact person for company clients regarding all their concerns. Regularly meets with other staff to exchange information and to discuss issues affecting the company. Participates in formal meetings in order to exchange information and to discuss ways to make the office function more efficiently. Prepares written agendas, causes minutes to be recorded, prepares written summaries of issues and action plans for review by the company president. Travel in support of sales or training meetings, customer site visits, and/or trade shows as required or requested Other duties as assigned Requirements Home health industry experience required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Prior experience with web-based software is preferred. Demonstrated ability to solve problems and anticipate customer needs. Strong oral and written communication skills with a good sense of humor Experience in effectively using a consultative customer support style and work with minimal supervision. Demonstrable proficiency with the Web, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Experience using CRM databases Desire and ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial and dynamic environment Demonstrated ability to organize, set and implement priorities and manage multiple tasks Minimum two years work experience in related areas. Informal training and work experience of exceptional nature may be accepted in lieu of the formal education experience Sales skills a STRONG PLUS Strong computer and writing skills.
