You may also complete an application online at All applicants must meet the minimum job qualifications in order to be considered for employment.*** Raleigh Rescue Mission, a local, non-profit, Christian ministry, is seeking an experienced individual to provide IT support for all computing systems as well as perform a variety of support to the Mission's Operations department. This individual will work Monday - Friday from 8am - 4pm. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Computer systems: Resolve hardware, software and networking issues.  Provide desk side support to users, including re-setting passwords, resolving printing issues, etc.  Maintain the computer equipment in functional working order.  Track and inventory all computer equipment and software.  Consult with the staff to determine if changes to current software offerings are needed.  Perform upgrades, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.  Manage relocation of computer equipment, cables and telephones when staff offices are relocated.  Responsible for preparation/placement of new computers  Train new hires on computer procedures and best practices  Maintain printers, including toner and ink ordering and replacement, connectivity issues, and mechanical problems. Manage telephone, fire and security systems support and maintenance  Track and resolve problems with the telephone system and administer the Voice Mail system.  Coordinate all upgrades and repair to telephone equipment and software. Work with outside vendors to resolve issues and make necessary repairs.  Manage training and operation of fire and security systems, including fire drills, documentation, and inspections of the systems and fire extinguishers.  Maintain the security camera system, and search the recordings for incidents if needed.  Generate and remove security access cards/fobs for new and departing staff.  Enter and remove employee codes for the driveway gate Responsible for researching and recommending expansion of existing information technology infrastructure as the needs of the Mission change, including an annual Disaster Recovery review, and IT strategy planning. Manage Gifts-In-Kind Database  Determine values and add new items  Enter or supervise entry of data  Generate reports as requested Maintain cleaning supply inventory  Fill orders from each department  Order replacement supplies to maintain inventory  Work with staff and clients to maintain high efficiency, conservation of products, and safety General Operations activities  Receive and distribute donated goods  Assist and supervise volunteers on various projects  Assist with special events and activities  Pick up donations/purchases of food or goods Carry out other responsibilities as directed by the Director of Operations These duties are not exclusive and with consideration of the job requirements and the employee's skills, this job description can be added to or taken away from at the discretion of the employee's immediate supervisor. Job Skills & Requirements: Mature Christian with a strong faith and ability to lead as a Disciple of Christ. Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a desire to serve the Lord in a shelter/recovery ministry. Associates Degree required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years experience in information technology Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) certification preferred Proficiency in the following areas: computer hardware and software systems, computer networks and network administration, computer troubleshooting, computer viruses and security, E-mail and internet programs Advanced hardware and software support skills required Ability to share the love of Jesus Christ with others and have a desire to help them grow in their relationship with God Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Must be able to prioritize and remain flexible to ever-changing needs
