Toward Maximum FAST TRACK YOUR RESPONSE BY EMAILING S AT The Job Coach performs duties under direct supervision of a Division Manager and indirect supervision of the Director of Employment Solutions/Associate Executive Director and Executive Director. The qualified candidate has working knowledge of supported employment and philosophy of community based instruction. The ideal candidate understands the demands of split-shift work and the standards required by the USMC regarding dress and behavior as well as job performance. The shift includes janitorial and/or cafeteria work duties and maintenance for the U.S Marine Corp at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, CA transporting up to four individuals with a developmental disability to work and back each day. Monitor individuals for quality control and efficiency and train for new assignments, as needed. Maintain positive communication with supervisors on site and with the TMI Division Manager, daily. Maintain excellent documentation and submit all time sheets and other paperwork on time as required. Split shift at Camp Pendleton - Mon - Fri Schedule is 10am to 2pm and 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm -- Split shift (two hours of non-paid break time) 40 total weekly hours paid. Wage: $10.50 per hour + mileage and eligible for full benefits after 90 days. QUALIFICATIONS: • A commitment to the agency's basic vision, mission, and values as they are to be actualized in the lives of both the children and adults we support. • A belief that all adults have the right and ability to work at real jobs for real pay. • Proof of BA/BS in human services related area or a combination of practical experience and education, preferred • A minimum one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities preferably in a community setting or related experience. • Hold a valid CPR and First Aid certification, TB test, criminal background check, drug screen, vehicle inspection, dmv report • Provide legal identification or California driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance, reliable vehicle to transport individuals to worksite daily • Demonstrate a willingness to pursue training and certification deemed necessary based on the needs of the individual(s) supported. • Must be able to qualify for Defense Department Identity Card/Pass ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB INCLUDE: • Training, support and monitoring of individuals supported in vocational settings. • Maintenance of consumer files, Job Coach Sub Files and Job Coach Community Books. • Completion of TMI required paperwork, i.e. timesheets, etc. • Assist Division Manager with the completion of participant required paperwork. • Active participant as member of Interdisciplinary Team; attends IPP and IHSP/PSP Meetings. • Mandatory attendance at TMI required meetings, e.g., All staff, team, Team Meetings, Staff Performance Evaluations, etc.
