Local Ready-Mix Company is looking for a full time A/R Pre-lien Administrator and Billing Assistant. This position will support the A/R and Credit Department with accounting and administrative functions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 1. Pre -- lien process -- out bound: a. Research owner and general information for job i. E-mail/fax/phone customers job information request sheets ii. Enter this information into customer notes in system b. Create notice letters in Lien Manager module i. Prepare certified documents for mailing ii. Type labels for envelopes 2. Pre -- lien -- in bound: a. Match return receipts to letters b. Go through returned mail and determine if another letter should be sent to a new address or if the letter was merely 'unclaimed' -- enter this information into customer accounts 3. General Administrative Duties: a. Sort ready-mix delivery tickets b. Data entry of ticket times c. Scan, bind, and file as needed d. Assistance with various A/R credit projects e. Verify daily COD orders for owner/contractor information to ensure on time ready-mix deliveries f. Prepare daily deposits QUALIFICATIONS: • Professional presentation / reliable and punctual • Good communication skills, verbal and written / good math skills • Experience and understanding of basic accounting tasks • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel -- Word -- Outlook) • Proficient in 10-key • Ability to work independently and be team oriented • Attention to detail and resourceful • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with customers, co-workers & management • Ability to keep confidential information confidential • Previous Office / Administrative Experience preferred • Knowledge in the construction industry is helpful • Reliable transportation is required for daily post office/bank trips EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED Minimum of one year related experience Knowledge of King County area in general a plus WORKING CONDITIONS: Normal office environment Day shift TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: May sit for long periods of time. May require infrequent lifting up to 25 lbs.
