Dan Perata Training 415-373-0889 I have worked with dogs and owners for over 25 years, starting with basic training for new pups to get them the best start possible, to correcting advanced behavioral issues. In many cases, a one hour session is all that is needed to get you and your furry friend going in the right direction, though I often deal with advanced cases in a complete board/train program. Over the years, I have gained a reputation as the person that can "fix" what other trainers can not. I have extensive experience in the following issues: crate training housebreaking leash pulling and walking separation anxiety destructive behaviors aggression of all forms ; dog, person, food socialization issues late stage housebreaking rescue dog rehabilitation preparing a dog for a new baby in the home excessive barking biting and many more. I offer unlimited phone and text support to all of my clients, and I work hard to create a program that both you and your dog can follow. I urge you to read my yelp reviews, and am happy to offer plenty of references. Lil L. San Francisco, CA Update! What can I say about this man that hasn't been said? Here's a check list of things that little Leo had issues with. Barking: He has calmed down a lot. Doesn't bark when someone comes home, barks on command, doesn't bark when other dogs are barking when I walk him, and makes a great little guard dog as he likes to bark when someone is at the door. Biting: What biting? This dog bites? He might jump if you touch his tail, but no biting. Socializing: I can now answer, yes I have a friendly dog and he lets everyone pet him as long as he sniffs you first. Oh and please don't touch the tail. He's a diva like that. Tricks: He does "paw" with conviction! It's like he's saying "Here is my paw!" I can walk him without a leash now and when I say "heel" he heels. But most importantly, Dan really cares that you have "good dog". So please, if you have a puppy, go see him to learn the basics. If you have a regular dog that runs the house go see him. Watching him work with a super aggressive dog and maintain his cool and have complete control really showed that it's never the owner, it's the dog. Don't be a bad parent and too prideful to seek help. You'll be glad you did. Sarah M Richmond Our puppy Teddy is now 8 1/2 months old, and sometimes my husband and I ask ourselves how we got such a perfect dog? He's a double doodle, cross between a labradoodleand goldendoodle. I have to acknowledge Dan for our dog's gentle temperment and good behavior. We sent Teddy to a Dan's puppy boot camp ("Dan camp") when he was just 3 months old. He stayed with Dan for a month. During this month, Teddy worked on crate training, which made our potty training much more successful. He still likes to go into his crate for a nap. He came home with great skills walking on the leash. He is super-responsive to just a light tug at his leash. He will slow down and looks up at whoever is walking him. We will never have to use a pinch collar. He also got the basic commands down, like sit and stay, and come. I think one of the most valuable lessons Teddy mastered is to take treats gently from human hands. People have commented how gentle he is when he takes a treat. He mouths your hand with his lips, absolutely no teeth. I will never have to worry about Teddy snapping at a child with food. Dan worked with Teddy on this . Also, Teddy is not protective of his food. Dan taught him to never be aggressive when someone is touching his food, or taking his bones or toys. He learned that people are the boss. He never tries to get on our furniture. He is an angel and we owe Dan. By the way, Dan loves dogs and will never hit your dog. Also, send your pup to Dan Camp and you'll get free additional support from Dan for life. It's expensive, but worth it. We can call Dan anytime a new issue arises. Brook I Pacifica Dan ROCKS! there is now hope for our absolutely neurotic GSD. a dog who thought it was the coolest thing to greet me by jumping up, pushing off of me to get more height, and biting me on the nose - will now sit by the door when i come in. and yet she's still playful and happy and will still go for a jump, but only when allowed we went on vacation for 2 weeks and left the little spoiled princess in Dan Camp. I still can't believe how patient Dan was with our daily calls and texts. he was always available to tell us about how she's doing and he even send pictures. I couldn't imagine leaving her with anyone else and being that comfortable. oh yeah, and did i mention she came back even more behaved, gentle, and attentive? we do have one complaint though. our neighbors are complaining that is...... they don't hear her barking any more!!!! Please check out my web and Yelp pages and some of my testimonials! I know I can make a difference in both of your lives. Dan - 415-373-0889
