QUALIFICATIONS: • 1-2 years work experience, preferably within a distribution call center. • Responsive to customer concerns and complaints. • Ability to manage a high call/email volume with a professional demeanor. • Strong people skills to build solid relationships with professionals at all levels. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Detail orientated and well organized with analytical skills. • Excellent communication and follow up skills. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. • Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize work. • Must be able to remain calm under pressure and maintain records in a timely and accurate manner. • Team oriented and collaborative in achieving company goals and customer satisfaction. • 1-2 years experience with CRM systems preferred (i.e. Salesforce). • Supervisory experience of 2 or more direct reports preferred. • Experience with purchasing/buying departments preferred. • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred. • Must have strong career-driven aspirations. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: • Resolves customer inquiries regarding orders status, discrepancies and proof of deliveries. • Maintains disposition of orders including routing, dates and shipping changes. • Interfaces with factories regarding expedites and purchase order maintenance. • Processes RMA's and coordinates factory returns and repairs. • Resolves Steven Engineering/factory shipping discrepancies and processes order replacements. • Completes customer MRP and open order reports. • Assists Inside and Field Sales. • Processes cancellations and re-enters orders. • Bi-Annual open order clean-up. • Addresses quality issues and corrective actions. • Interfaces with receiving department on inventory control. • Investigates and resolves disputes and claims. • Occasional heavy lifting of product or literature as necessary (15-20 lbs.). HOURS OF WORK: Typically 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Overtime is mandatory when the needs of business dictate. STEVEN ENGINEERING PROMOTES AND THRIVES IN A TEAM ENVIRONMENT.
