VanderHouwen & Associates, Inc., is actively seeking an Inventory Planner for our client who has a brand new location in Boise. As an Inventory Manager, you would be responsible for the following: Perform project planning activities including material analysis, consumption analysis, purchase request generation, and coordination between engineers and suppliers. Deploy planning tools to guarantee high level of customer service. Analyze Replenishment Data Initiate, review and process Purchase Demand / Requisitions Act as the primary customer (requestor) contact regarding forecast, new part adds, backorders, etc. Responsible for meeting with Tool Owners to review forecast, changes, new part adds, etc. Inform the appropriate individuals (buyers, site leads, managers) of any issues related to the material shortages. Coordinate and perform physical inventories to ensure the accuracy of inventory assets. Maintain accurate and timely data including master records, BOM's, etc. Manage quality issues, providing strategic analysis and make recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives. Identify & develop material savings projects to generate cost savings. The perfect candidate will have demonstrated experience in the following areas: Project Management Inventory management and planning Procurement methodologies MS Office Suite with advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, vLookup, Formulas, etc.) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or similar system experience Logistics and Supply Chain Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience/combined education. Engineering degree a plus, but not required. 3 years of prior Inventory Planning experience in a Manufacturing setting; or 1 year of professional experience with an advanced degree. Prefer experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment
