This position is with GSN, a Federal contracting firm. It is a full-time, long-term position supporting GSN's customer. Please email resume to: The employee shall: Respond to public inquiries or refer them to appropriate information sources. Write news and feature articles, announcements, and photo captions. Support the development of a range of communication products, including updating con-tent, proofreading, and producing print and online materials. Research statistics and other facts for use in written materials. Update organizational information in outside directories. Manage publication orders, exhibit preparations, and news article screening. Organize meetings, including agenda development and logistical arrangements. Monitor social media sites (Facebook and YouTube) and respond to follower inquiries and comments. Assist with photography and video production, editing, captioning, permissions, and asset management. The employee must have: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field. Minimum of one (1) year experience in a related field. Familiarity with biological sciences topics. Expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel). Strong communication skills, both oral and written. Exceptional organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
