ATTENTION: please respond to; Earl (Buddy) Grater, Superintendent Facilities & Equipment 610-945-4265 Position: Maintenance Engineer Thermoseal Industries, LLC We are currently looking for a motivated and disciplined self starter who is mechanically inclined and goal oriented. This person should have a strong mechanical and/or electrical background. Entry level applicants will be considered based on provided experience. At Thermoseal we run two production processes. At our main facility we build insulated glass (IGs) units to include; glass cutting, glass tempering, glass fabrication, this includes and is not limited to manual and automated processes. We also run a door line which includes PVC and aluminum cutting and PVC and aluminum fabrication; this line also includes but is not limited to manual and automated door equipment. Within Thermoseal Do It right the first time (DIRTFT) is how everything must operated to ensure we are a well oiled machine. It's critically important that the maintenance personnel understand that the equipment at Thermoseal must be maintained in order to ensure we are in full operation at all times. Both facilities are outfitted with tools and equipment to fully maintain our operations of equipment. The equipment is primarily composed of pneumatic based systems which run off of PLC based or Windows based operating systems. Description of duties; • Preventive maintenance to include but not limited to facilities and equipment • List to ensure smooth operations of equipment • Weekly and monthly checks on both facility and equipment • Pneumatic systems • PLC and Windows based systems / control panels • Welding and light fabrication • Operate basic hand tools and power tools • Operate cranes and forklifts • Crane, Forklift, and pallet jack preventive maintenance • 24' box truck preventive maintenance • Daily issues or repairs of the facility or equipment • Commercial electrical systems both DC and AC (12v, 24v / 110v, 220v, 480v) • Basic plumbing • Basic small engine • Preventive weather damage to the facility • Maintain and be responsible for all tools and equipment for maintenance use • Assist in all major equipment upgrades or installs • Concrete and epoxy floor repair • Painting both interior and exterior of facility • Maintain all safety, facility, and equipment signage • Assist in new projects customer visits This position will work a normal 40-hour week, between the hours of 5:45am-4:30pm but it will periodically require additional effort on Saturdays. This position will report to the Facilities and Equipment Superintendent.
