Rachel Wixey & Associates is managing the recruitment of Substitute Bus Drivers for Austintown Local Schools for the 2013-2014 school year. Working as a substitute allows you the flexibility of am a.m. or p.m. schedule, and the ability to sign up for trips and transportation for extracurricular activities and athletic events. While possession of required license (see below) is a plus, the district will work with top candidates to successfully satisfy license and training requirements. The district will incur all training and certification fees and candidates must sign a 1-Year agreement contract to work for Austintown Local Schools as a substitute bus driver.
Noted minimum requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Being of legal driving age-with five years driving experience Commercial Diver's License (CDL)* School Bus Passenger endorsement* Clean driving record (no more than 6 points during the past two years, more details provided at interview) Satisfactory criminal background check* Successfully pass drug test* Must complete a physical* Positive attitude, high moral character and ability to effectively manage students
