Our company is currently seeking a Sales Assistant. This position requires the candidate to possess excellent data entry and phone skills. As the primary interface to our prospects and customers, you must possess a professional demeanor and exceptional customer service skills. This fast-paced role will require the candidate to “wear several hats.” Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Assist Senior Sales Representatives with order processing
• Answer, direct and/or assist high volume calls
• Process prospect/customer requests for catalogs
• Maintain accurate tracking of catalogs sent
• Keep customers informed by notifying customers of shipping and stock availability issues; answering questions; responding to requests
• Replaces damaged items, shortages, and mis-shipments by informing customer, shipper, and transporter of damage, shortage, or mis-shipped items; returning refused product; issuing credit for damage and/or shortages
• General office/clerical responsibilities as assigned

Required Skills:
• Possess a minimum of 2–3 years experience in a sales support/order entry role
• Intermediate computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook
• Fast & accurate data entry skills (a minimum of 50 wpm or 8000 keystokes)
• Excellent communication skills combined with customer service attitude/experience
• MUST be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Superior organizational and oral/written communication skills; ability to prioritize workload
• Show tolerance and flexibility to changing priorities
