What do demonstrators (known as “Event Specialists”) do? Event Specialists demonstrate food and other consumer packaged goods inside retail outlets to generate excitement and brand awareness to increase product sales. The ideal candidate is food safety certified or willing to obtain certification. This is a part-time permanent position and requires weekend scheduling.
Brief Job Requirements: • High School or equivalent • Must have access to a computer and a phone • Must have basic knowledge on how to use a computer • Must have reliable Internet access to receive schedules, updates, and submit event reports • Friendly, outgoing personality; confidence and enthusiasm to engage retail shoppers • Reliable transportation to/from your specified location is required • Neat appearance • Ability to prepare and serve food samples utilizing cooking apparatus required for raw meats, produce, and other items
