Director, Regulatory Affairs
Houston-TX Based
This individual will travel 50% of the time throughout six states, directing the environmental and regulatory affairs programs for E&P waste treatment and disposal operations, and working to improve and maintain high safety standards, all while ensuring compliance with State and Federal environmental regulations. Qualifications include a Bachelorís degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related technical field; a Masterís degree is preferred. A minimum of ten years of directly related, progressive experience that yields extensive experience with regulatory affairs and environmental compliance, waste management, expiration-production waste management,
environmental investigations as well as knowledge of water-treatment regulatory requirements and spill-prevention compliance is expected. ISO 1400 certification and a background supervising a minimum of three to five employees are also requirements.
Knowledge of oilfield operations is a strong plus!
