Assistant General Manager Jonesville, Michigan

As a key member of the management team, you will lead by example on the plant floor. While you will have no direct reports, you will give direction throughout the day to the plant staff and help support the General Manager.
You will contribute to ongoing improvements and ensure the maximum efficiency of manpower, materials and machines. This position also helps to ensure that customer expectations are met or exceeded. You will champion team spirit and ensure that appropriate training, coaching and discipline is given to ensure high performance of tasks to meet scheduled requirements. We will encourage you to stay on top of the changing industry and share new knowledge.
The ideal candidate must have at least five years of experience in the automotive industry with five years at the manager level. You must have experience in a manufacturing facility with strong technical and financial background and be computer proficient. You will need to be familiar with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations. Additionally, we are looking for a skilled communicator with strong leadership, excellent analytical capabilities and great problem-solving skills.
