Human Resources Manager
Hopkinsville, KY

Strong leader. Team player. Excellent presenter. Does this sound like you? We are looking to hire an individual who is approachable and personable to fulfill this high-level role. As our new Human Resources Manager, you will provide leadership and direction to the HR department in regards to employee relations, training, health and safety, performance management and more. Additionally, you will champion all in-house HR related programs and associated activities.

The ideal candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and at least eight years of Human Resources generalist experience in manufacturing or distribution, with four of those years at the management level. You must have knowledge of non-union facilities and experience combating union strategy. Additional must haves include knowledge of lean manufacturing, safety, recruitment and knowledge of OSHA, ADA and FLSA. PHR desired.

To qualify, you must be a strong communicator in the English language, both written and oral. You will need the ability to lead a team using excellent organizational and time management skills plus strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Strong knowledge of workplace legislation, Employment Standards Acts and Human Rights Code required. Plus fair knowledge of payroll and benefits administration. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
