Business Development Manager Southern/Southwestern United States Our client will look to you to identify and generate profitable new-business opportunities and function as a "lead capture" manager with regard to pricing follow up and requests for quotations. Working in harmony with Company business leaders, the sales team, engineering and operations, you will also manage—and ensure—customer satisfaction. This role also prompts the opportunity to cultivate current market research and business development information and communicate findings to the Company Sales and Marketing/Management teams. To qualify, you should hold a BA or BS degree in Business Administration or a technical discipline, such as mechanical engineering. An MBA is preferred. You’ll also need five to ten years’ experience in the aerospace/defense industry, with five to seven of them having been spent in Business Development/Sales. You should be an excellent communicator with a customer focus, and be able to travel domestically about 60% of the time.
