Western Regional Sales Manager - Industrial Market
West Region (Colorado to Minnesota)

Do you enjoy traveling and working from a home-based office? Are you a self-starter with a can-do attitude? If this sounds like you then we encourage you to become our new Western Regional Sales Manager. We are seeking an energetic and ambitious individual to help lead our sales team. In this role, you need a strong desire to succeed, a willingness to learn all facets of the business, excellent communication and presentation skills, plus the discipline to pursue growth within the company. On average, your day will include scheduling appointments, traveling to clients and generating reports.

As the Sales Manager, your key responsibilities include managing all sales activities of the assigned territory, either personally or through other assigned representatives. You will be expected to develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals within the territory. You will meet with clients, develop and maintain relationships, as well as negotiate contracts. You will call on engineers and other professional and technical personnel at various commercial and industrial establishments. You are also responsible for preparing reports according to corporate procedures.

In this role, you will be expected to provide technical training and services to employees and clients regarding operation and maintenance of equipment. You will direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals. In this leadership position, you are also responsible for reviewing market analysis to determine customer needs, price schedules and discount rates.

Additionally, you will provide representation at various trade shows to help promote product, deliver sales presentations to clients and directly support customers as well as collaborate with representatives and distributors.

The ideal candidate must have at least five years of technical sales experience in the Pump Industry and the Industrial Market (Chemical, Oil, Food or Environmental Services). You must also have experience in distribution management and strong Microsoft Office skills. A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering is preferred.
