We are in need of an Engineer Customer Support in Akron, OH. The salary is 65-75k & relocation is available.

Purpose: Helps build positive relationships with customers by providing solutions to technical questions for assigned in-service aircraft model programs. Performs design improvements of existing products under relatively close supervision & with advice from more experienced engineers. Assignments may include product design changes, maintenance deviations, & development of experimental tools for maintenance.
Required •At this level the incumbent is experienced & responsible for applying standard principles, theories, concepts & techniques in providing solutions to a variety of problems, using the applicable CMM as a reference. •Must demonstrate the ability to efficiently apply standard MABS & industry techniques, methods & criteria to the solution of engineering problems. •Must also possess sufficient knowledge of plant operations to obtain & integrate services of other groups whose participation is essential to successful accomplishment of assignments.
Required Exp. •University degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent. Postgraduate qualification would be beneficial. •2 years exp. with engineering degree (or equivalent), 3 years exp. with engineering technology degree (or equivalent); no previous exp. required with e.g. master’s degree (or equivalent).
