Major Accounts Business Development Manager

If you love the phone and fully embrace the prospect of cold calling, this “hunter-type” role could be for you. You will be expected to solicit, sell and implement products and services to the large-size private-sector market with a potential annual expenditure of $150,000 to multi-million dollars. As Major Accounts BDM, you will aggressively target customers with multiple locations across multiple districts or regions. It is also expected that the Major Accounts BDM will work with and build enduring relationships with influential decision makers, most typically at the senior executive level (CEO, CFO, or SVP). In addition to being outgoing and an excellent communicator, you’ll need a large-market background working with people in the purchasing department. Your experience of calling upon key decision makers will reveal a demonstrated history of success in attaining impressive revenue goals. A Bachelor’s degree, as well as a top-level attitude bred of “fire-in-the-belly” ambition will be a given.
