Lead Electrical Engineer (Nuclear Power) • $100K-$120K Huntsville, Alabama
As our new Lead Electrical Engineer, you will work in the Commercial Grade Dedication and Qualification Division. You will get involved with the technical issues related to electrical equipment and you will speak with the supply customers regarding electrical needs. To be successful, this position requires strong customer interaction and knowledge of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy equipment. Currently, this department has approximately eight engineers and there are 16 engineers total within the facility. There is plenty of room for advancement in this role to become a leader at the department level.
The ideal candidate must have at least seven years’ and a maximum of 20 years’ Engineering and Electrical experience. To qualify, you must have nuclear power experience or industry experience. A Professional Engineer with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is preferred.
Other qualifications include experience with electrical equipment, cable and connector experience, testing and supporting, hands-on troubleshooting equipment, strong project management and organizational skills, proficient computer and work-management tool experience and strong presentation and communication ability.
