Environmental Engineers Naheola, AL and Camas, WA As lead engineer for air compliance, you will apply your solid knowledge of rules and regulations in preparing permit applications and environmental reports for regulatory agencies and completing site inspections and audits. You will also provide appropriate training on environmental topics and serve as a valuable resource for issues such as dangerous/hazardous waste, solid waste, and wastewater. Building and maintaining strong working relationships with regulatory agencies and the community is a given. To qualify, you must possess a Bachelor's degree in environmental, chemical, or civil engineering, along with five to seven years of recent environmental experience in a manufacturing industry. Expertise in air and water compliance and a PE license, or ability to obtain within two years, is preferred.
