Construction PM/Quality Assurance Professional Needed

Are you a construction management professional with experience in Project Management and/or Quality Assurance? If so, then we have a position at Ft. Leavenworth, KS.
Your expertise is needed to assist the US Army Medical Research and Materiel Command with facility construction and renovation projects. The goal of the command is to provide solutions to optimize the health of warfighters and their families. The construction efforts will include both research and clinic facilities.
Overview of Responsibilities:
Participate in the development of the MRMC project priority list. Make field surveys to investigate existing layouts and conditions. Ensure conformance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes, Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) standards, safety standards, and other agency criteria. Participate in final on-site inspections of completed projects, providing input/recommendations as to acceptability/non-acceptability of completed work along with recommendations for corrective action. Provide timely coordination with hospital staff to ensure proper reviews/notification of projects, and minimal disruption to health care facilities and services during construction Be present at utility outages to provide engineering and contractor support Review and scope miscellaneous Facilities Engineering Work Requests (FEWR). Evaluate schedules, work performance quality, safety oversight, coordination effectiveness, and perform documentation reviews for all repair and construction work in progress or in planning stages at above-referenced facilities. Coordinate daily actions with the Directorate of Public Works, Corps of Engineers, and US Army Medical Research and Materiel Command (MRMC) personnel. Attend all construction meetings pertaining to projects. Meet daily with on-site contractors performing construction and adhere to the requirements of all USACE Quality Assurance Engineering Regulations, including but not limited to ER-1180-1-6 and all MEDCOM guidance on QA reporting. Provide an oral weekly report to government officials to apprise them of project status as necessary
Requirements: A minimum of 5 years medical facility construction experience is required, and US Army or other Military, experience is preferred.
