Repair Technician - aerospace component repairs Mentor, Ohio area Up to 50k Relo available CRRTjls

Our Client Company is a leader in aerospace component repairs. They provide high quality component repair to airlines, military, and land & marine turbine engine operators around the world. They currently have an opportunity for a Repair Technician located in the Mentor, Ohio area with salary dependent on experience and/or education.

Job Description
Perform a wide variety of general shop tasks such as deburring assembly and disassembly, light machining, and assembling fasteners.
Your Qualifications
1. Use a variety of hand power and non-power tools to perform various shop operations. Use fixtures and stationary equipment provided. Acquire personal tool list of standard non-power tools such as file, hammer, wrenches (list provided).
2. Disassembly and assembly of turbine engine components. Use of a variety of hand tools and stationary tools. Assembly and installation methods include press-fit bushings and inserts, rivets, self-locking nuts, helicoils, lockwiring, etc. Determine proper torque when required.
3. Use power and non-power tools to deburr after machining operations. Deburr various metals, plating, and thermal spray coatings.
4. Use power and non-power tools to blend to remove nicks and high metal; blend to create smooth transitions or return parts to original contour.
5. Drill, tap, re-drill holes. Use hand drills, reamers, chamfer tools, and taps.
6. Operate small machines (surface grinder, drill press, hone, lathe, Bridgeport) to manufacture or modify parts. Size and cut bushings, pins, or other small parts for proper fit for installation.
7. Cut, blend, and fit patches.
8. Apply various compounds such as RTV and epoxy coatings to bond parts during assembly or to seal joints.
9. Bake or freeze parts for various assembly or cure operations.
10. Rack or unrack parts for various operations such as heat treat, welding, or machining.
11. Additional duties such as masking parts for subsequent operations, cleaning parts using various chemicals, degreasing, powerwash and/or blasting parts as assigned.
Client company operates in a 24-7 environment, with various shifts and schedules. They offer hourly premiums to employees who work night shifts and weekend schedules.
