Senior Process Engineer Ennis, TX and Shafter, CA The Process Engineer is responsible for championing process improvement and problem-solving projects within the plant. The focus is on sustainable systems for measurement, new products and processes, process capability, and internal compliance, as well as formal Qualpro 1-7 and MVT projects. This individual also trains production personnel on Statistical Process Control (SPC) and educates personnel on company products, plant and corporate quality policies and procedures; including internal and external personnel, suppliers and customers. Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering or Pulp & Paper Technology and five to seven years’ experience, particularly continuous improvement experience.
Our client is also looking for professionals with excellent communication skills, since this person will interface with everyone on site and within the company. Candidates should have strong attention to detail, be self-motivated, able to multi-task, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Finally, candidates need to have a “fire in the belly” for the duties of this role.
