Our client company was founded almost 90 years ago, is one of North America’s largest distributors of bearings, power transmission products, hydraulic and pneumatic components and systems, industrial rubber products, safety products, tools, material handling products, and general maintenance products. They stock 3 million SKUs to meet customer needs and have approximately 460 facilities throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. They also provide customized mechanical, fabricated rubber, and fluid power shop services, as well as storeroom management and maintenance training services. They currently have an opportunity for a Fluid Power Sales Rep – Outside in the Joliet, IL area.
Our client is looking for a dynamic, seasoned Outside Sales Professional to represent major product lines in the Illinois region. They encourage entrepreneur personalities that can establish relationships with their customers for the long road, not the quick sale.
As a Sr. Fluid Power Specialist, you will plan, implement, and execute target fluid power marketing programs. Duties include:
• Assist in the development of fluid power data collection; interchange information, case histories, Documented Value Added, and application data. • Work with your customers to develop usage reports and set up stocking needs • Identify new opportunities for our products and gather required data so that we can present our products and solutions. • Work up yearly product quotes and price increase. • Responsible for helping set sales target goals and execution of the fluid power marketing strategy. • Perform other duties as assigned or directed. Fluid Power Sales Requirements 3 years minimum Sales experience with industrial or Mobile products, ideal person should have solid history managing a territory and helping customers create spread sheets that show what product they have on order and when reorder points should be.
We want someone that has great communication skills and is willing to make the rounds and work directly with the customers purchasing and engineering so that you can build a solid relationship with each OEM.
