A local restaurant group is currently searching for an experienced Kitchen Manager with strong background in organizational and hands-on skills. The perfect candidate will be outgoing, capable of working the line at all times, understand recipe adherence, leadership with kitchen staff, organization of all kitchen facilities. Responsibilities include the capability to understand and achieve food cost goals, continually meeting food quality levels, hands on training with all kitchen staff members, and be able to meet all targets on labor costs. This position will be responsible for staffing, training of any new kitchen staff, and consistently execute hands-on work in the kitchen. This Kitchen Manager must understand and institute all health codes, have an up to date Serve Safe certification, and show they can develop daily cleaning routines that will meet cleanliness standards of the restaurant organization.

- Able to develop basic budgets for food operations.
- Must be very outgoing and hands-on involvement with all kitchen and front of house operations.

Minimum Requirements for the Ideal Candidate:

- Must be motivated, self-starter.
- Willingness to work a minimum of 5 days per week with an average of 50 55 hours/week
- High School Diploma or GED required. College or University degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years in the restaurant industry
- 2 5 years Restaurant Management experience or higher in a high volume full-service related industry.
- Exceptional Team building skills.
- Dedication and longevity in past work history.
- Excellent communication skills, with strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical and decision making skills.
- Basic business math and accounting skills, some Profit & Loss reporting.
- Basic personal computer literacy.
