Hello My Name is Coach Ironman and I am a former College/Arena football player turned Personal Trainer. My Passion is football and training the body to exceed expectations, so it’s only natural that my company foundation is Football specific Training. We’ve been training in Round Rock since 2009 and we have help major Division I players from the area get a jump on the college game. I tell you right now we are going to change the future of Central Texas Football forever. Because we focus only on football, we train kids for the sport year round,,,, Crazy right! We offer 1 on 1 training and group (team) sessions. We devolep new training areas daily.List of attributes the athlete can expect to improve in.

1. Functional strength training- this will be the base of Football training. The method will give players the ability to be strong and balanced while using only one of his limbs even while out of position. When a player makes a cut against a player, this gives him the strength to respond and shift weight from one leg to the other.
2. Balance- plays a major role in not falling down while shifting weight. Balance is crucial when reacting to make a play but also protects Players. Balance training develops small muscles that protect his joints (toes, ankle, knee, and hips) from sprains and tears.
3. Core Strength- having a strong core will benefit them in so many ways. It will connect his arms with his legs, so to speak. Their bodies will be stronger and more complete by giving them the ability to hold and play in awkward positions that the game of football throws at you. It also helps reduce the chance of injury.
4. Flexibility- the most important component by far of any training regimen. Flexibility training is going to give players the ability to move freely through all movements, thus giving him greater ability to stretch out and make plays. It also provides the first line of defense against injuries such as ligament tears and sprains, tendon strains, pulls and strained muscles.
5. Conditioning- can’t train properly if your tired ¼ of the way through your workout. Steady progression will be made to achieve elite conditioning in a safe and controlled manner. Speed- is stride length × rate of frequency. What this means we have to get players stride to open up and then get his steps to come at a quicker rate. Because most players have not been taught proper running form and technique, I look for speed to improve tremendously among trainees. Many drills and training methods go into this part of the program.

6. Quickness- home of the fast twitch muscles fibers. An athlete training to get quicker will also makes him a faster athlete. This will give him the ability to move fast and react better in short spaces which will make him hard to contain.
7. Agility- this method of training is where football players separate themselves from track guys. Stopping, changing direction, shifting weight while moving fluidly then bursting again is what players will benefit from agility training.
8. Explosiveness (burst) - for a football player, this means being able to accelerate quickly to top speed in any direction at any time in a controlled manner. Burst separates the great from good players.
9. Rhythm and Coordination(R&C) - all great football players can dance and have great feet (see “Dancing with the Stars”). While we won’t actually be dancing, we will use alternative methods to get the players used to moving in a rhythmic, coordinated manner. This method of training helps because you’re more believable when you go to make a move on another player... if it’s performed in harmony. You’ll find players are watching you instead of reacting to you!!
10. Ball Skills- Every player no matter the position needs to spend lots of time handling the ball. This is what the game is all about. Throwing, catching, forcing fumbles, recovering fumbles, interceptions, kickoffs, punts, receiving punts and kickoffs all come as a result mastering the ball at a young age.
11. Position Specific Training- This method of specific training is important when trying to master one particular position.
12. Injury Prevention- all of the training above will have some benefit in helping the athletes stay injury free. Players will go through a form of what we like to call Football Yoga after every workout. This will increase flexibility, speed the healing process in the body (small micro-tears in muscles during workouts), and help lubricate joints to protect against future damage.

tobe apart of a new training revolution send a email and we will send some info over to you about how to get started, thanks for your time and have a Great day!
