Responsibilities of Position: The Director is responsible for assisting with decision making, program planning and implementation of the Women’s Health Services clinical care delivery systems which promotes safety and well being of all patients within the system. Demonstrate sound financial knowledge and management. Facilitate the Women’s Health Services departmental organization and management to achieve optimal and appropriate resource utilization. Build and maintain strategic relationships. Build and maintain high performing clinical care delivery teams. Manage conflict and competing imperatives. Build customer loyalty among physicians, employees and community. Possess requisite level of technical and professional knowledge in the Women's Health Services clinical area of expertise including exceptional leadership skills.
Texas RN license • Three to five years of clinical/management experience • Previous Director experience strongly desired • BLS, ACLS and NRP certifications • Knowledge of Federal, State and required regulatory agency standards related to health care organizations • Cognitive and technical knowledge and ability to progressively manage clinical care delivery • Ability to retrieve, communicate and present data and information both verbally and in writing • Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken and written work • Must be flexible with work scheduling • Discretion and independent action within prescribed limit
