Hello! My name is: Bruce Crary, and I am a self-defense instructor. I have had the privilage of studying numerous self-defense systems, including:

Full Contact Karate: American
Kick Boxing: American
Boxing: American
Aikido: Japanese
Judo: Japanese
Pressure Points: Chinese & Japanese
Tai Chi: Chinese
Kung Fu: Chinese
And Others...

Over the years of teaching, I have developed some unique, fun and very effective training methods:

Black Belt Speed (Fast Twitch Muscle Development)
Block Sparring (Japanese, Chinese & American)
Iron Palms (Hand Conditioning)
W.A.S.A.B.I. (Stretching System)
The Mongoose (Head Evasion System)
Hit Training (Minimizing Injury)
Always Win (Open Tournament Training)
Courage Makers (Complete Bullying Training and Recovery)
And More...

In my short 40 years of study, I have privately trained with: Mr. Joe Lewis (World Heavyweight Karate & Kick Boxing Champion). Mr. Al Tracy (World Renowned Chinese Kenpo Instructor) and several others. I have studied in both the United States and in China.

Teaching self-defense is my passion and privilege. I like to think of myself as a "Self-Defense Architect", helping my students to draw from all styles, developing and streamline their own.

I teach private lessons only, and I teach by donation only. I am not trying to become rich. If you like the training, give what you can.

Before I teach you, you must answer these four questions:

1.. What is the "Essence" of Karate?
2. What does "Kung Fu (actually: Gung Fu) mean?
3. What is the "Best Style?".
4. And most importantly; What is the "First Thing" you know? You get three guesses.
